Raytheon is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to support the Effectors factories in Tucson, AZ. You will model operations, map value streams and drive throughput improvements while applying Six Sigma and Lean principles.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency initiatives and safety improvements. Typical responsibilities include capacity planning, line balancing, and control of manufacturability for new products, with opportunities to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Systems/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience applying industrial engineering tools and methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Modeling, Facility Design or Process Optimization.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; ATF clearance may be required.

Responsabilités

• Model factory operations with process flows, value streams, Pareto charts and CAD drawings.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to improve efficiency and meet goals.
• Draft infrastructure improvement proposals and plan integration of new products/tech.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute improvement projects.
• Support new production proposals and product integrations.
• Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics.
