Job summary

Ball Corporation seeks an Industrial Electrician Technician to ensure reliability and safety of high-speed aluminum can production lines. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels, while adhering to NFPA 70E safety standards.

The role involves 12-hour rotating shifts (6am–6pm, 6pm–6am) with day/night rotation every 4 weeks, onsite at multiple Ball locations. Strong electrical, diagnostic, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Limited Maintenance Electrician or Electrical Journeyman license.
• Electrical Technology qualification; NFPA 70E familiarity.
• Computers skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems (24V–600V), motors, VFDs.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Rockwell preferred).
• Install upgrades and improvements to equipment to boost reliability.
• Ensure NFPA 70E safety compliance and protocols.
• Maintain wiring schematics and daily logs (paper and AutoCAD).
• Collaborate across shifts and departments to resolve electrical issues.
• Support on-the-job training for teams.
