Job summary

Ball Corporation in Millersburg, OR is seeking an Industrial Electrician Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of high-speed aluminum can manufacturing equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including PLCs and automation controls on 24V–600V equipment.

The role requires 12-hour rotating shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) with a 2-3-2 schedule, rotating day/night every 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial electrical maintenance.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Licenses: Limited Maintenance Electrician, General Electrical Journeyman, Electrical Plant Journeyman, or Supervising Electrician.
• NFPA 70E familiarity and safety training.
• Relevant technical qualification in electrical technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Electrical System Maintenance and Repair (24V-600V), motors, VFDs, sensors, and control panels.
• PLC and Automation Support, program and troubleshoot PLCs (Rockwell preferred).
• Equipment Installation and Upgrades to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Safety Compliance with NFPA 70E and safety protocols.
• Technical Documentation including wiring schematics and daily logs.
• Collaboration across shifts and departments; clear issue resolution.
• Training and Development through on-the-job training programs.
