Job summary

Ball Corporation in Winter Haven, FL is hiring an Industrial Electrician Technician to ensure the reliability and safety of high-speed production equipment. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, including PLCs and automation controls, while adhering to NFPA 70E safety standards and collaborating across shifts.

Responsibilities include maintenance planning, complex diagnostics, documentation, and on-the-job training to develop the maintenance team.

Qualifications

4+ years in industrial maintenance
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Electrical Technology qualification or related field
NFPA 70E familiarity or training
Starting hourly rate: $46.71 (salary to be determined by education, experience)
Eligible for annual incentive plan
Comprehensive benefits begin day one

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical systems (24V-600V) including motors, sensors and control panels
Program and troubleshoot Rockwell PLCs and automation equipment
Install electrical components and wiring, conduit, and VFDs
Perform complex troubleshooting to minimize downtime
Adhere to NFPA 70E safety standards and company safety protocols
Provide on-the-job training and support to maintenance teams
Document electrical schematics and field work accurately
