Job summary

Hanwha Qcells in the United States designs, builds, and manages financially sustainable solar PV solutions. The Legal Counsel will provide in-house legal advice across contracts, employment law, customs and trade law, and compliance. This role is onsite in Cartersville, GA and reports to the Sr. Legal Counsel.

The position will assist in disputes, manage litigation/arbitration, and review and interpret legal requirements, communicating these to the business and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must hold JD/LLM from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in good standing with a state bar.
• Experience as in-house counsel or at a law firm; familiarity with corporate matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal support and guidance on contracts, employment law, customs and trade law, and compliance.
• Manage and resolve disputes, including litigation/arbitration.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Supervise outside counsel and coordinate with external legal services.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) / Master of Laws (LLM)
