Job summary

Sungrow USA is seeking an experienced Commercial Counsel to support inverter and battery sales teams. The role focuses on contract review, negotiation, and dispute resolution for solar projects, with involvement in corporate and compliance matters.

The candidate should have 8+ years of solar industry experience, a JD, and US bar admission. Remote work in the US is available, with occasional travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school; bar admission in good standing.
  • 8+ years of experience providing legal counsel on commercial contracts in solar energy.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating solar inverter and battery supply agreements.
  • Knowledge of energy project agreements; governance, employment law, and real estate desirable.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; able to manage multiple deadlines.
  • OEM experience with solar inverters or batteries.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial contracts including solar inverter/battery agreements.
  • Advise on disputes, regulatory compliance, and risk management for Sungrow USA.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and internal clients on legal matters.
  • Support corporate governance and governance-related matters.
  • Manage relationships with external law firms and counsel.
  • Travel up to 10% for业务 needs.
