Qualifications

• High School Diploma, Equivalency (GED/HiSET) or two years’ Trade School Experience.
• Current Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician's license.
• Current #608 EPA Universal Certification.

Responsibilities

• Works from wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, prints, and manuals to perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC/R equipment.
• Maintains, repairs, and adjusts oil/gas burners.
• Annually cleans heating boiler combustion chambers and flues.
• Troubleshoots HVAC/R equipment malfunctions and initiates follow-up actions as required.
• Maintains and replaces DDC and pneumatic controls and related components.
• Calculates head load and provides data for modifications needs.
• Notifies supervision when major repairs or modifications are necessary.
