Job summary
RTX seeks a qualified electronics technician to operate and maintain ROTHR receiver site equipment, ensuring continuous radar functionality across remote locations. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and follow manuals for fault isolation with guidance from supervisors. U.S.
citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance are required. The role is onsite at a ROTHR site in the US and involves rigorous, mission-critical work with opportunities to contribute
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate in Electronic or Electrical Engineering Technology or military technical school with two-year program.
- Experience using test equipment and troubleshooting major electronic systems.
- Must have a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Operate ROTHR receiver site equipment and monitor systems.
- Perform maintenance on ROTHR receiver site and communications equipment.
- Interpret manufacturers' manuals to solve complex problems.
- Assess circuit interrelationships and plan work sequence.
- Receive guidance from supervisor and perform related duties as assigned.
