Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Repair Assembler for a contract position based in Bradenton, FL. You will assemble and repair mechanical and electrical components, with a focus on HVAC parts, using hand tools and basic power tools in a controlled production environment.

You will read blueprints, ensure conformance to drawings, and inspect for defects while following SOPs to meet safety and quality targets. This role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on repair assembly experience in a production or similar setting.
• Proficient mechanical assembly using hand tools and basic power tools.
• Experience with electrical assembly and repair of electrical components.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings for accurate work.
• HVAC components knowledge and their function within assemblies.
• Previous manufacturing experience and adherence to SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a production environment and meet output goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of components per specs and work instructions.
• Repair and rework HVAC components to restore proper function.
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely during tasks.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to complete work accurately.
• Inspect parts for defects and take corrective actions as needed.
• Follow SOPs and production guidelines to meet quality and safety targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, climate-controlled work area.
