Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States seeks a Field-based Installation Foreman to lead HVAC installation teams, supervise subcontractors, ensure safety, quality and on-time completion of projects at customer sites. You will review plans, coordinate materials, train crew, maintain records, and support Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.

A High School Diploma and 2–5 years HVAC installation experience, plus a valid driver's license, are required; willingness to travel and overtime

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 2–5 years of Commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for 12 months with clean driving history.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Must be able to safely operate vehicles and wear safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation team: commissioning, diagnosis, repair, and start-up of HVAC systems.
• Plan and complete projects on time and within budget; analyze and coordinate tasks.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to mount, install, and align equipment and systems.
• Maintain stock and document all related activities; provide training at customer sites.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders; ensure customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
• Support Project Managers and Developers in planning, change orders, and material procurement.
• Attend weekly planning meetings; supervise technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
