Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead on-site construction for the renovation of a university dormitory. The role includes supervising field staff, coordinating trades, and ensuring safety and quality standards across all phases of the project.

You will partner with the Project Manager to align execution with goals, manage schedules, and facilitate timely turnover while adhering to site safety plans and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 5+ years in General Construction.
• Experience in project supervision, project coordination, or related work.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office; Procore experience preferred.
• State Contractor Licenses preferred (e.g. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
• OSHA 30 preferred; valid driver’s license for 12+ months.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction activities for complete renovation of a university dormitory.
• Provide field supervision for building renovation, infrastructure upgrades, and utility trades.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
• Develop and maintain a high-performing job-site culture focused on safety, accountability, teamwork, and quality.
• Partner with the Project Manager to align field execution with project goals.
