Job summary

Raytheon seeks a highly motivated Human Factors Engineer II for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. The candidate will lead HF activities, coordinate with Systems, Software, and Hardware teams, and ensure safety-focused design throughout the lifecycle.

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance are required. This role is based onsite in a closed area program with the LCE team in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Human Factors or Safety Engineering.
• Experience with hardware and/or software engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Human Factors programs aligned with MIL-STD-1472.
• Perform hazard analyses and design evaluations for HF activities.
• Lead HF efforts across product teams to identify and mitigate hazards.
