Job summary

The Watkins Company is seeking an Human Resources Supervisor in Winona, MN to lead day-to-day HR operations, support recruiting, employee relations, records management, and HR process improvements. You will coach supervisors, assist with labor relations, and ensure accurate HRIS data and compliant leave administration.

Location is onsite in Winona; compensation ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year. A Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of HR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, recruiting, performance management, and policy administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HR activities for Winona operations, acting as a resource to employees and leaders and helping ensure consistent application of company policies.
• Coordinate recruiting, selection, and onboarding with hiring managers to support staffing needs and a positive onboarding experience.
• Support employee relations by advising on matters, conducting investigations, and recommending next steps in coordination with the Vice President of Administrative Operations.
• Coach supervisors on attendance, performance management, employee development, documentation, and corrective action.
• Assist with labor relations, including collective bargaining agreement administration and grievance resolution, in partnership with the Vice President of Administrative Operations.
• Oversee employee records and HRIS data accuracy, including supporting leave administration and compliance with applicable employment requirements.
• Coordinate employee communications and help support training, recognition, and engagement activities that strengthen employee relationships and promote a positive workplace.
• Review workforce reporting to identify trends and recommend HR process improvements in collaboration with leaders and HR colleagues across facilities.
