Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager / Safety Coordinator for our Sumterville, FL production facility. You will serve as the primary onsite HR resource, handling employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, payroll support, and safety coordination in a fast-paced environment.

This role partners with plant leadership and our corporate EHS team to promote a safe workplace, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive workforce development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
• Experience with safety programs or OSHA/EHS initiatives preferred.
• Professional certification such as PHR/SHRM-CP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support managers and employees with policies, procedures, and HR programs.
• Partner with plant leadership to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate recruitment for hourly and salaried roles and onboarding.
• Assist with onboarding, benefits, and payroll support.
• Lead safety activities as plant Safety Point of Contact.
• Assist with OSHA compliance and safety training.
