Job summary

Sunbelt Modular Inc. is seeking an HR/Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. This onsite role collaborates with plant leadership and corporate HR to align payroll and HR practices with company policy.

The position includes handling 1094/1095s, W-2s, verifications and audits, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate has at least two years in HR/payroll, knowledge of federal/state laws, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in HR and payroll.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/bi-weekly payroll.
• Process employee pay changes, deductions and accruals accurately.
• Accurately maintain employee PTO accruals.
• Assist in generating and distributing 1094s, 1095s, W2s.
• Drive employee performance review process and notify department heads of upcoming review dates.
• Complete employment verifications and other employee inquiries.
• Manage employee benefits enrollments, changes, and questions.
• Address employee complaints and concerns escalating to regional/corporate HR as needed.
• Assist with adding new drivers to company auto insurance carrier.
• Maintain all electronic employees files accurately and confidentially including personnel files, benefits files, Form I-9s.
