Job summary

VISPO seeks a hands-on HR Manager in South Royalton, Vermont, onsite. You will ensure compliance, manage talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee relations while partnering with leadership.

This full-time, exempt role reports to the Chief Community Officer, with a Monday–Friday schedule (flexible start). Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. A strong benefits package is provided to support you and the community.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in business, HR, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
• SHRM or HRCI credential preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Develop and oversee HR initiatives in partnership with leaders.
• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee development.
• Manage apprenticeship and internship programs.
• Oversee benefits and total rewards planning.
• Support performance evaluations and employee relations.
