Job summary

BLADE in Geneva, Ohio is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR at our manufacturing site. This onsite role partners with the leadership team to manage talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and compliance with state and federal laws.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and strong experience with HRIS systems and payroll coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct HR experience with 3+ years in leadership or supervision, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO) and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee talent acquisition and partner with leadership to meet talent needs.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, conduct investigations, and mediate conflicts.
• Administer performance reviews and advise on performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; liaison with OFCCP and state agencies.
• Administer benefits programs and assist payroll processing (weekly/biweekly).
• Coordinate onboarding and training; participate in employee engagement activities.
