SECURE RPO LLC is seeking an Onsite Human Resources Manager in Klamath, CA to oversee day-to-day HR operations for an agriculture organization.

You will lead HR staff, manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and offboarding, while ensuring compliance with federal and California laws, Cal/OSHA, and safety standards. This role emphasizes workforce engagement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in HR leadership.
• Experience supporting a large workforce or multi-site organization.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
• Hands-on payroll and HRIS experience.
• Experience with OSHA/Cal-OSHA and workers' compensation.
• Agriculture/food manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• English/Spanish bilingual skills highly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP/PHR/SPHR-CA or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR operations and supervise HR staff.
• Manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training, development, and offboarding.
• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, workplace issues, and employment practices.
• Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws and Cal/OSHA requirements.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, leave management, HRIS, employee records, and compensation programs.
• Manage workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Lead workplace investigations, safety initiatives, and employee training.
• Develop and improve HR policies, procedures, and systems.
• Support employee engagement, retention, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
