Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an HR Consultant I for its 100% in-office role in Schaumburg, IL. You will evaluate client needs and configure HR applications, including onboarding and performance management, coordinating self-service portal use.

The position requires bachelor’s degree in HR or related fields, strong communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information. Travel up to 5% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related fields preferred
• Previous customer service or client interfacing role preferred
• Willingness to perform a full range of tasks and projects under supervision
• Strong interpersonal communication, writing and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
• SHRM certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with simple setups to integrate Paylocity HR products and solutions.
• Provide industry-leading customer service.
• Conduct an introduction call to verify contracted HR products and timeline.
• Conduct an alignment call to answer questions and collect requirements.
• Work with clients during day-to-day functions supporting HR solutions during implementation.
• Research and provide guidance in interpretation of HR policies.
• Coordinate internally between client and Paylocity departments to ensure tools are used to fullest.
• Some travel up to 5% required.
• Other duties as assigned.
