Job summary

Pritchard Companies in Clear Lake, IA or Minneapolis, MN is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support payroll, benefits, recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, and compliance. The role partners with a collaborative HR team to deliver service across multiple locations and ensure data integrity in ADP Workforce Now.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years HR experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, and HRIS administration.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, employment laws, and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process and audit payroll through ADP Workforce Now.
• Review time and attendance records and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate payroll changes related to hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Support payroll audits, reporting, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and payroll regulations.
• Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans.
• Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefit eligibility and coverage.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee communications.
• Reconcile benefit invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Partner with benefit providers, brokers, and vendors.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions.
• Post jobs through multiple recruiting channels.
• Screen applicants and coordinate interviews.
• Conduct reference checks and assist with offer preparation.
• Coordinate pre-employment screenings and onboarding activities.
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records within ADP Workforce Now.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
• Generate HR, payroll, and workforce reports.
• Assist with HRIS enhancements, testing, and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide employee and manager support.
• Maintain personnel files and HR documentation.
• Support leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs.
• Assist with employee relations issues and policy interpretation.
• Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
