Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., seeks an HR Generalist to support employee engagement and retention at our Columbus, GA manufacturing facilities, including a new start‑up chemical site. You will coordinate HR processes, recruitment, onboarding and training, provide benefits information and policy interpretation, and ensure HRIS data integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business, psychology, or related field.
2+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred.
Experience with employee relations, onboarding, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

Coordinate HR processes, recruitment, onboarding and training for new hires.
Provide benefit information and policy interpretation to employees.
Maintain electronic employee records and HRIS data integrity.
Address employee relations concerns and collaborate with subject matter experts.
Review, monitor, and audit timesheets; manage payroll timing and adjustments.
Create and update job descriptions, salary grades, and bonus eligibility.
Support performance management and employee progression at the plant.
Participate in local recruiting events and onboarding for new hires.
