Job summary

Great Lakes PACE in Saginaw, MI is seeking an HR Administrator to support daily HR operations onsite. You will assist with document preparation, policy updates, and pre-employment processes, including background and reference checks.

You will participate in payroll support and handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA. A Bachelor's degree is required, with preferred HR experience and healthcare exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience in an office environment.
• Understanding of confidentiality requirements including HIPAA is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to the HR department.
• Type, edit, and prepare documents for day-to-day HR operations.
• Assist with updating company policies and job descriptions.
• Support recruiting and complete pre-employment processes, including background and reference checks.
• Participate in payroll processes as part of the HR function.
