Job summary

Find Great People | FGP in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an HR Assistant to support recruiting operations, candidate engagement, and hiring coordination. This fully onsite role begins as temporary with potential for long-term conversion.

You will coordinate communications, scheduling, maintain records in the ATS, handle background checks and onboarding, and deliver a professional candidate experience while partnering with recruiters and hiring managers.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, HR, or administrative support.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional presence and strong customer service mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• Experience with ATS preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate candidate communications, interview scheduling, and hiring logistics.
• Support high-volume recruiting and move candidates through the process efficiently.
• Maintain candidate records and updates within the ATS.
• Manage pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug screens, references, and onboarding support.
• Monitor candidate progress and ensure timely follow-up throughout the hiring process.
• Prepare recruiting reports and assist with process improvement initiatives.
• Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience while representing the employer brand.
