Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, active Texas license, and proficiency with clinical documentation systems. HIPAA compliance and professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP and Texas licensure are required.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Proficient with clinical documentation systems and related software.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws.
• Experience handling confidential patient information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech therapy services per physician orders and Plan of Care.
• Design and implement engaging, evidence-based exercises to meet goals.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families throughout treatment.
• Set measurable goals and track progress, noting improvements and challenges.
• Ensure proper setup and sterilization of speech therapy equipment per safety protocols.
• Review patient records prior to sessions to tailor treatment.
• Engage in continuing education to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.
