Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Production Technician to join our on-site Bowling Green facility. As part of a production crew, you will operate, adjust, and repair high-speed equipment while following 5S standards and SOPs to meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of mechanical experience with troubleshooting skills; two years in a high-speed environment is preferred, with proficiency in hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
