Job summary

Geospatial And Cloud Analytics Inc is seeking a Help Desk Support Specialist to support an onsite, client-facing IT service center in Stafford, VA. The role requires active DoD security clearance and provides a path through a fast-paced, government contracting environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of IT support, Active Directory experience (preferred), and a valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of IT support experience.
• Active Directory experience preferred.
• Requires DoD 8570 - IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, GSEC, SSCP, or CCNA-Security).
• Must be a US citizen eligible to obtain a government sponsorship clearance; Secret clearance required to start; TS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and resolve service requests and incidents.
• Consult with users to resolve technical problems via telephone or self-service ticket.
• Diagnose problems using historical data and route to specialists when needed.
• Maintain and update records and tracking databases.
• Provide outstanding customer service across all organizational levels.
• Collaborate with system administrators and developers to ensure incidents are completed.
