Job summary

Cumming Group in Stockton, CA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (Healthcare) to support the Senior Project Manager on on-site administration for hospital renovation projects. You will coordinate documentation, track progress, and help interpret designs to ensure construction follows plans.

The role requires 1–2 years in project construction, a bachelor's degree in PM/engineering or related field, and strong communication skills. OSHPD/HCAI experience is preferred for healthcare work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in PM, engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project construction.
• Experience with healthcare construction preferred (HCAI/OSHPD).

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Project Manager with on-site scheduling and project phase planning.
• Provide update/status reporting for costs and schedules.
• Administer sub-contracts and facilitate pre-bid/start meetings.
• Prepare meeting minutes and maintain project documentation.
• Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and QA/QC processes.
