Xtensys is seeking a Junior Desktop Support Technician to deliver frontline IT helpdesk support for a healthcare environment in Ithaca, NY. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, assist with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and IAM basics, and maintain inventory and ticket records under the Desktop Support Manager.

This onsite role requires strong communication, patient service, and the ability to work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST, with occasional after-hours support as

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop, Service Desk, or technical support in healthcare or enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, Microsoft 365, user accounts, printing, network connectivity, and clinical apps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical expertise.

Responsabilités

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems for users of PCs, including software, hardware, network, and printers.
• Provide one-on-one problem resolution with follow-up to ensure satisfaction and lasting fixes.
• Configure and deploy end-user PCs, software, and peripherals within approved environments.
