Job summary

Ascendo Resources is seeking an HR Generalist for a contract role onsite in Maitland, FL, supporting healthcare professionals nationwide. You will manage onboarding, employee relations, I-9, FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and leave administration, while partnering with managers on performance and engagement.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of HR Generalist experience, healthcare HR is a plus, and strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR Generalist experience.
• Healthcare HR experience is a plus.
• Experience with I-9, FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and leave administration.
• Experience supporting high-volume employee populations.
• Experience working with international nursing professionals is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and new-hire processes for healthcare professionals.
• Serve as an HR resource for employee relations, process I9, policy guidance, and workplace concerns.
• Administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and leave-of-absence programs.
• Maintain employee records and ensure HR compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Partner with managers on performance, employee engagement, and workforce-related matters.
• Support HR projects and initiatives for a nationwide workforce.
