Huron Consulting Group Inc. partners with Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System to support revenue cycle operations and the patient experience.

The Main Admissions Representative handles patient registration, verifies demographics and insurance, completes eligibility checks, and collects payments to ensure a smooth onboarding process. This onsite role requires clear communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong service mindset as you assist patients of all ages and ensure HIPAA

Formación

• Basic computer, clerical, and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to provide professional customer service in a patient-facing environment.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and work volumes.
• Preferred: clerical, registration, healthcare, or customer service experience.
• Preferred: computer and data-entry experience.
• Preferred: knowledge of medical terminology.
• Preferred: strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Register and pre-register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
• Complete insurance eligibility verification and required assignments and signatures.
• Maintain 98% accuracy in registration standards.
• Collect copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and other patient payments.
• Process patient account payments and daily deposits.
• Identify uninsured or coverage concerns and escalate as needed.
• Distribute admission and registration documentation to relevant teams.
• Assist with patient transportation as needed.
• Provide courteous, compassionate service to patients and families of all ages.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow applicable federal, state, organizational, and client requirements.
