Job summary

Medcor is seeking an EMT or Paramedic to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our Hawesville, KY construction-site clinic. This PRN role supports patient care, injury assessment, and workers’ compensation case management while collaborating with client staff and Medcor leadership.

Day-to-day duties include documentation via EMR, pre-employment screenings, and Return to Work facilitation. A valid license, CPR/BLS, and physical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• Active EMT-B/Paramedic licensure
• CPR/BLS current
• Able to lift 50 lb and perform physically demanding tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to work at heights and in construction settings
• Positive, team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care at on-site clinic per protocols
• Manage workers’ compensation case management
• Facilitate Return to Work programs
• Coordinate with Medcor leadership and client medical staff
• Document care using EMR and other tools
• Assist with pre-employment and post-offer screenings
• Maintain OSHA record-keeping and treatment logs
• Support onsite health and wellness initiatives
• Deliver high-quality customer service to client employees
