Job summary

Medcor is hiring an EMT/Paramedic on a PRN basis to serve as Onsite Health Technician at a construction site clinic in Sandusky, OH. Weekend coverage is required, with additional weekday hours and vacation coverage.

The role involves patient care, workers’ compensation case management, Return to Work program facilitation, and collaboration with medical and operational leadership. Candidates must be licensed, CPR/BLS certified, and able to lift 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Pre-employment and post-offer screenings.
• Documentation of care using EMR and other tools.
• Medical charting.
• OSHA record-keeping.
