Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking an OHST Coordinator to lead safety, health, and training programs on site. You will deliver MSHA training, ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA standards, and maintain rigorous recordkeeping while coordinating with regulators. The role includes emergency preparedness, site risk assessments, and collaboration with operations to reduce risk on a remote Alaska site.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all safety activities comply with MSHA/OSHA and company policy.
• Maintains safety and health records and incident reporting.
• Performs regular site safety inspections and audits.
• Coordinates with inspectors and assists during regulatory visits.
• Delivers mandatory MSHA training and site inductions for employees, contractors and visitors.
• Develops and evaluates emergency response training and drills.
• Promotes a proactive safety culture focusing on risk reduction and regulatory compliance.
