Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Onsite Medical Representative to join the Workplace Health & Safety team at our Ohio site. You will provide first aid, guide associates on injuries, and coordinate referrals to external providers while supporting safety operations on the floor.

You will work with the WHS Site Manager and Specialists, attend safety meetings, maintain records, and participate in training for CPR/AED. The role requires flexibility for days, nights, weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved ECC provider.
• EMT or Paramedic Certification OR Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or state).

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid support and refer outside medical providers as needed.
• Minimize injury risk through education and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Coach associates and leadership on safe work habits.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean environment.
• Participate in CPR/AED first-aid training and certification.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Support emergency response at the site.

Education

High school or equivalent diploma
