UnitedHealth Group's Aberdeen office is seeking an onsite, full-time Eligibility Specialist to support pre-authorizations and patient account workflows. You will perform insurance eligibility checks, obtain authorizations with carriers, and coordinate with hospital contacts to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1+ years of authorizations experience in healthcare.
• Experience with patient registration and insurance verification in healthcare.
• Ability to use Windows PC applications and learn new programs.
• Ability to work onsite at 915 Anderson Dr, Aberdeen, WA 98520.
• Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm PST with occasional overtime.

Responsabilités

• Perform insurance eligibility checks and obtain pre-authorizations with carriers.
• Coordinate daily with Hospital department contacts in Prior Authorization workflow.
• Interact with patients to resolve account issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
