Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks a Hazardous Waste Technician for our Taylor, TX site. The role supports compliance and environmental safety, performing waste handling, transfer operations, and site setup under supervision.

Ideal candidates will hold a High School Diploma, OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training, and a Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must complete and maintain OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training.
• Confined Space Entry & Rescue certification required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety procedures and PPE use.
• Wear a Respirator / SCBA as needed.
• Load materials into tankers following SOPs.
• Set up job-site functions prior to transfer operations.
• Connect/disconnect transfer hoses and inspect fittings for safety and leaks.
• Operate pumps to load and offload hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Monitor transfers for safety and stop work if conditions are unsafe.
• Maintain professional conduct with customers, suppliers, regulators, and the public.
• Carry out daily tasks as assigned by Lead and others.
