Job summary

OnLogic in Cary, NC is seeking a Global Business Operations Project Manager to bridge pre-sales and mass production for custom hardware. You’ll own end-to-end plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and keep projects on time, within scope, and profitable.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Supply Chain; draft SOWs, manage budgets, risks, and milestones using Jira and Smartsheet; and communicate clearly with stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering complex, custom hardware projects, ideally within the industrial, rugged, or edge AI sector.
• Proven operational background in Sales, Business Operations, or cross-functional delivery environments.
• Hands-on expertise with key systems, including CRMs (Salesforce or HubSpot), ERP platforms (Odoo preferred), and modern project management tools like Jira and Smartsheet.
• Exceptional executive-level communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of presenting to C-suite leadership and navigating technical customer escalations.
• Proactive approach to risk management, timeline execution, and cross-departmental accountability with a strong sense of individual ownership.
• PMP or comparable project management certification preferred, along with a Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales & Sales Engineering during presales to assess configuration, feasibility, timelines, and risks.
• Draft detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) with clear definitions, deliverables, milestones, and SLAs.
• Coordinate internal processes to align deliverables with capacity.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for customers from presales to mass production.
• Secure approvals for scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management.
• Develop project plans with milestones and dependencies using PM tools.
• Foster cross-functional communication among departments and teams.
• Lead weekly project status meetings and track action items.
• Manage resource allocation to align teams with timeline and expectations.
• Proactively manage scope changes and identify bottlenecks with contingency plans.
• Monitor budgets, track billable hours, protect profit margins.
• Communicate changes to customers regarding timeline, budget, and scope.
