Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Hardware Lab Lead to oversee multiple engineering labs in Andover, MA. The role emphasizes safety, security, compliance, and property management across facilities.

You will guide lab processes, manage equipment contracts, and coordinate with SCM and customers in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a STEM degree, 5+ years in an engineering lab, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) field or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience overseeing or implementing safety, security, compliance and property management in an engineering lab environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for lab users on established policies and Lab Operating Procedures.
• Coordinate Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainment activities within multiple labs.
• Manage property, metrology, contracts and equipment service for lab operations.
• Perform cost analysis and ensure tasks stay within budgets.
• Process lab purchases through SAP/SRM/Vallen and support SCM processes.
• Oversee audit/assessment preparation and develop corrective actions and future objectives.
• Safeguard classified/proprietary material and ensure compliance with export regulations.
• Develop and implement communication plans with engineering customers and management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive policy and procedural improvements.
• Operate autonomously with limited oversight and provide professional guidance.
