Job summary

RealManage Elevated Onsite is seeking an Onsite Golf Assistant Superintendent in Pembroke Pines, FL to support daily turf maintenance and course operations. You will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure optimal playing conditions and staff direction.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3+ years of golf turf experience, a valid driver’s license, and a state pesticide applicator license, with a turfgrass or related degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2-year or 4-year turfgrass/agronomy degree preferred.
• 1–3+ years of hands-on golf course turf maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and state pesticide applicator license.
• Strong knowledge of turfgrass cultural practices, irrigation mechanics, equipment operation, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily/seasonal work schedules for mowing, course setup, and maintenance.
• Monitor turf health, apply fertilizers, and perform cultural practices (aerification, vertical mowing, topdressing).
• Oversee irrigation systems, monitor soil moisture, and direct repairs as needed.
• Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising groundskeepers and crew foremen.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance with pesticide/herbicide applications.
• Act as lead in the superintendent's absence and communicate tournaments/events.
• Coordinate with the superintendent on maintenance scheduling and course conditions.
