Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Assistant GIS Specialist for a 12-month onsite contract in Kansas City, MO.

The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and analyzing GIS data across multiple projects with emphasis on client collaboration and delivering high-quality GIS outputs. The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and geospatial data management, plus a GIS-related degree.

Qualifications

Must have minimum 2 years’ of professional experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), and geospatial data management.
Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field; master's may substitute for experience.
GISP certification or Esri certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, analyze, and manage GIS data for diverse professional services.
Assist with GIS analysis, data development, and data preparation for GIS applications.
Provide strong customer service by communicating project status and collaborating with clients to meet objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality GIS data and services with a teamwork mindset.
Create and update GIS maps, map layers, and geospatial databases; support QA/QC of deliverables.
