Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager General for a 12+ month contract in Kansas City, MO (onsite). The role provides support to Project Managers across diverse engineering and construction projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.

Key duties include coordinating with clients and vendors, managing documentation and reports, and assisting with RFP development, cost tracking, and risk reviews.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in project management for engineering/construction/utility sectors.
• ABET-accredited degree or equivalent in Engineering/Construction Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work overtime as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project coordination tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers on varying complexity projects and manage smaller ones independently.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders; manage documentation and schedules.
• Assist with RFP package development, bid processes and scope-of-work documents.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and site drawing logs; ensure compliance and safety.
