What You’ll Do
- Service and repair generators: change air filters, change oil, check battery levels, check spark plugs, etc.
- Perform on‑site planned maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and troubleshooting for customers generators (includes DC & AC Voltage equipment)
- Work independently or with a small team and company vehicle servicing residential and commercial standby generators
- Involves multiple appointments per day
- Provide excellent customer service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail with your work
What You’ll Bring
- 2-5 years of experience minimum in a mechanical setting working on 8kw-100kw generators
- Proven knowledge of preventative maintenance, load‑bank testing, and engine diagnostics
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and service manual
- Basic set of tools, specialty tools will be provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and work outside
- Valid driver’s license
