Job summary

TRAC Recruiting seeks a General Manager for a full-time, onsite leadership role in Central California. You will own end-to-end P&L, oversee service, installation, repair, and field operations, and drive profitable growth with a hands-on, data-driven approach.

You will lead a cross-functional team, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in a PE-backed environment. Travel to office locations and job sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience running a business unit or multi-site operation in home services or related fields.
• Full P&L ownership with revenue, margin, and profitability accountability.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience with KPI-driven, data-backed leadership and cadence.
• Willingness to travel between offices and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Own full brand-level P&L including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and EBITDA.
• Oversee operations across service, installation, repair, dispatch, scheduling, warehousing, and inventory.
• Lead a leadership team across operations, field, office, and support functions.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and operating plans in partnership with leadership.
• Drive profitability and growth through pricing discipline, mix, and cost controls.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, state licensing, and local regulatory compliance.
• Standardize SOPs and performance dashboards; drive field productivity and efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with customers, builders, vendors, and partners.
