Job summary

Avantor in Rio Rancho, NM is hiring for a garment handling and inventory support role with a 6am–6pm shift (Thu–Sat and alternating Wednesdays). The on-site position pays $16.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities in logistics and order processing.

You will manage point-of-use replenishment, receipts, data tracking, and shipping paperwork while collaborating with teams. Prior GMP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 6+ months experience in material handling, inventory replenishment, and/or customer service.
• Microsoft Teams experience preferred.
• Previous GMP facility experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Point of use replenishment of garments.
• Collection of used garments and inspection for damage before shipment.
• Collect usage data and add to tracking log.
• Receive inbound shipments and prepare shipping documentation.
• Run customer’s database of hanger assignments and map locations for training.
• May travel to customer sites.
• Daily inventory and soil bin inspections to avoid overflow.
• Review invoices against packaging/shipping receipts.

The Opportunity

Shift: 6 am - 6 pm, Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday
Hourly Rate: $16.00
Location: Rio Rancho, NM

What we’re looking for

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Experience: 6+ months' experience in material handling, inventory replenishment, and/or customer service preferred; some verifiable work experience preferred
• Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Teams experience preferred
• Previous experience working in a GMP facility is desired.
• Able to lift 50lbs required.

What you will:

• Point of use replenishment of garments
• Collection of used garments.
• Inspection of used garments to identify any damage before shipment.
• Collection of usage data at the point of use and adding it to the tracking log
• Receive inbound shipments from common carriers.
• Responsible for preparing shipping documentation and staging material for pickup.
• Run the customer’s database of hanger assignments.
• May require traveling to customer sites.
• Inspection of any damaged garments being returned as truly damaged items.
• Daily inspections of inventory & soil bins check to avoid overflow.
• Review and approve any invoices to packaging and shipping receipts.
• Ordering new garments as needed or any special sizes.
• Mapping out garment locations for training aids
• Point person for any garment issues or concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
