Sterling Kohler is looking for a dedicated Public Area Attendant to join our housekeeping team. The role involves maintaining the beauty and charm of guest rooms and public facilities. Duties include cleaning public areas, maintaining restaurants, and ensuring the cleanliness of the hotel.

This full-time position requires a commitment to working weekdays and weekends, with hours typically from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay ranging from $13.10 to $19.60, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel/lodging environment is helpful but not necessary.
• Must be able to handle physical tasks throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Clean public sitting rooms, hallways, and restroom areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in restaurants and banquet halls.
• Sweep and vacuum carpets and area rugs.
• Polish furniture and fixtures in public areas.
• Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Skills

Prior hotel/lodging experience

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Tolerating being on their feet for the majority of the day
