Job summary

InterContinental Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Public Area Attendant to join our team full-time.

You will keep all hotel public areas clean, neat, and welcoming for guests, while upholding safety and sanitation standards and delivering outstanding guest service. The role includes cleaning lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and meeting spaces; vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restocking supplies; responding to guest requests promptly; and reporting maintenance issues

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and meeting spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the property.
• Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, and other surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness around entrances and other guest-accessible areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged items to the appropriate department.
• Follow all hotel cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments and other duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.
