Job summary

Graves Hospitality Corporation seeks a reliable Housekeeping Public Area Attendant to keep hotel public spaces clean, neat, and welcoming for guests. This full-time role emphasizes attention to detail and guest service, with flexibility for varied shifts.

Responsibilities include cleaning lobbies, restrooms, meeting areas, and entrances, replenishing supplies, and promptly addressing guest requests. Training provided; prior experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred but not required.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, stairwells, and meeting spaces.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the property.
• Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, and other surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness around entrances and other guest-accessible areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged items to the appropriate department.
• Follow all hotel cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and sanitation standards.
• Complete daily cleaning assignments and other duties as assigned by the housekeeping supervisor.
