Job summary

Bowhead seeks a Full Stack Developer to join our team supporting the NSWC Corona program in Norco, California. This position is 100% onsite and requires a Secret level security clearance or higher.

Responsibilities include administering and supporting daily IT operations, implementing security controls, and collaborating with the ISSO to maintain accreditation. A DoD environment and ServiceNow experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DoD environment with RMF, STIGs, and DISA tools.
• Hands-on ServiceNow experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Proficiency in managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Education or certifications aligning with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administers and supports daily operational requirements of computer network systems.
• Install hardware/software, upgrades, accounts, and security controls.
• Maintain and update System security documentation and procedures.
• Lead staff training on software and IT processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues encountered by users.
• Support Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems and engineering tools.
• Coordinate with ISSO for system accreditation and compliance.
• Prepare monthly progress and status reporting.
