Job summary

Antera Software in Plano, Texas is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to help modernize a mature SaaS platform. You’ll design new capabilities, improve existing systems, influence architecture, and mentor other engineers.

You’ll work alongside Product, QA, DevOps, and fellow developers to deliver software that powers mission‑critical business operations every day. This is a full‑time, 100% onsite position in our Plano office, with opportunities to contribute across frontend and backend

Qualifications

• Strong software design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience building web applications and REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, production-quality code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions.
• Build modern web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Improve application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Participate in architecture and technical planning.
• Review code and mentor other engineers.
• Collaborate across Product, QA, DevOps, and Customer Success.
• Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve productivity while maintaining high-quality engineering practices.
