Job summary

Sagent Behavioral Health is seeking a Front Office Registration staff to connect patients with mental health services, schedule intakes, and process referrals at our Stillwater location. This on-site role serves as the first contact for new patients and referents, ensuring courteous, accurate information and a smooth intake process.

You will work Monday-Thursday 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM and Friday 11:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with a supportive team and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in health care facilities and an interest in behavioral health is strongly preferred.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a positive first impression for patients and referents by guiding them through the intake process with professionalism and empathy.
• Act as the point of contact for all intra-office referrals and inquiries by providing education on all services, intake procedures, and scheduling appointments.
• Register new patients by collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information.
• Answer inbound and make outbound phone calls while responding to inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information or triaging as appropriate.
• Process internal and external referrals and communicate scheduling outcomes.
• Collaborate with clinical staff regarding patient care issues and scheduling.
• Maintain awareness in trends, patterns, and needs for new services.
• Handle patient concerns and crises with empathy and patience and collaborate with site leadership to resolve as needed.
